Playa Albir

From Playa Albir it is about twenty minutes walking to the centre of Altea. Also the bus route 10 brings you in a few minutes to Altea. Here you find yourself in one of the oldest fishing villages of the Costa Blanca. The best way to visit the old centre is to go by foot because the narrow alleys and passages are as good as without cars and the different levels in the old town you can pass by going up and down the stairs. In the picturesque Altea of today are living many artists and you can find a lot of art and culture in this village. Further does Altea has a very cosy boulevard with a lot of shops with a fine selection of articles and also a cluster of traditional restaurants. In the fishing port you can see daily the incoming small ships with the fresh wet fish from the Mediterranean Sea.
