Playa Albir

Those who love the mountains and enjoy the wonderful panoramas, have the possibility to visit Guadelest from Albir. This old Moorish fortress in Guadelest is easy to reach after a wonderful trip of 25 km through the mountains. If you do not have car, you can go to a car rental company in Playa Albir to hire one.

If you want to go up far in the mountains then we can recommend the trip over the coll de Rates and it will take half a day to get there. Also is it possible on your way back to visit Fuentes Del Algar if you have left your staying early in the morning. At these beautiful waterfalls you can take a refreshing dive in the several natural swimming pools.
