Albir is littered with supermarkets and shops for the daily necessities.
If you really want to go shopping than is Benidorm the place to be.
Especially on the Avda. Meditarineo you can find a lot of different kind
of types of shops to bring the day to a perfect day. The old town of
Benidorm is more pleasant to go shopping with his narrow alleys and
little boutiques.
A
little bit outside Benidorm in Finestrat is the Marina
Shopping Centre. This mall has two floors and on the roof are some nice
attractions for the children and restaurants. Nearby this shopping
centre is also the biggest department store of the district called
Carrefour”.
The
tourist markets at the Costa Blanca are extremely popular. The nearest
market is the one from Altea on Tuesday. But also the market of Benidorm
which is twice a week is easily accessible by bus (route 10). The most
amusable markets are the jumble sale and antique markets in the
neighbourhood. Nearby Albir is every Sunday an antique market on the
property of the hacienda “El Cisne”.
A very nice market with live music and also possible to eat and
drink against reasonable prices.
